Usage & Application

When to Use

• Routine Maintenance & Water Changes: Add during water changes to replace essential electrolytes lost to filtration and plant uptake.

• New Tank Setup: Add during acclimatisation to reduce osmotic stress on newly introduced fish.

• Parasite & Disease Support: Use as a natural supportive treatment during outbreaks of external parasites like Ich (whitespot) or velvet.

How to Use

1. Standard Dosage: Add 1 rounded tablespoon (1/2 oz) per 19 L (5 US gallons) or 1/2 level teaspoon per 3.8 L (1 US gallon) of aquarium water.

2. Pre-dissolve the required salt in a small bucket of aquarium water before adding it into the main tank.

3. Important: Aquarium salt does not evaporate. Only re-add salt when replacing water during routine water changes; do not add salt when topping off evaporated water.
