Fluval Bio Foam 306 406 307 407 (2 Pieces)

Description

Fluval Bio Foam for 306, 406, 307 and 407 Canister Filters (2 Pieces)

Fluval Bio Foam 2-Pack (SKU: FA141) is designed specifically for the larger media frames of Fluval 306, 406, 307, and 407 canister filters. Fluval Bio-Foam performs exceptional mechanical and biological filtration. Consisting of two precision-cut dense foam pads with a dense structure, this set provides robust mechanical filtration by trapping debris before it reaches biological media.

Fluval Bio Foam’s dense structure is effective at trapping small particles that are not captured in the first stage of foam filtration, while its internal intricate network of pores provides a large surface area that encourages and houses massive beneficial bacteria colonies to process organic waste and supports the growth of helpful nitrifying bacteria which is crucial for efficient biological filtration and goes a long way in creating clear and healthy water for fish and plants to thrive.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• High-Flow Canister Maintenance: Replace worn foam inserts in Fluval 306, 406, 307, or 407 canister filters.

• Dual-Pad Servicing: Replace pads alternately to maintain an established biological colony during filter maintenance.

How to Use

1. Shut off motor power and open the canister filter casing.

2. Place both Bio Foam pads into the vertical foam bracket slots.

3. Gently squeeze and rinse pads in extracted aquarium water during routine cleanings.

4. Replace pads every 3 to 6 months for optimal water flow and filtration performance.
