Usage & Application

When to Use

• Marine Velvet Outbreaks: Apply immediately upon observing a dusty, brownish-gold velvet film, sloughing mucus, or severe skin haze. Confirmed or suspected outbreaks of Oodinium or marine Ich.

• Respiratory Distress & Flashing: Use when marine fish exhibit rapid, laboured breathing, lethargy, or frequent flashing against liverock and substrate. Fish displaying white spots, rapid breathing, or flashing/scratching behaviour.

• Quarantine Procedures: Ideal for treating newly introduced wild-caught or delicate marine fish during quarantine protocol.

• Fish-only marine aquariums (not suitable for reef systems)

How to Use

1. Remove activated carbon, chemical filtration resins, and turn off UV sterilisers and protein skimmers prior to dosing.

2. Ensure high aeration using air stones, as marine parasite treatments require well-oxygenated water.

3. Dosage Rate: Add 5 mL per 20 L of aquarium water.

4. Repeat dosage every 3 days for a full treatment cycle, performing a 20% to 25% water change before each new dose.

5. Note: For maximum safety of sensitive invertebrates, corals, and live rock, perform treatment in a dedicated hospital or quarantine tank.
